At CCF we supply the insulation, ceilings and drylining that go into the buildings people live and work in. This role puts you in front of our highest spending customers, with a ledger of your own and the freedom to decide how you grow it.
This isn't order taking. You'll be the person your customers ring first when a project lands, because you understand their business well enough to solve the problem before they've finished describing it.
What you'll be doing
- Owning a ledger of key accounts across your territory, building genuine relationships with the decision makers who matter
- Making CCF the first call across every product category, not just the categories you're already winning
- Hitting sales and profit targets on existing accounts and bringing new business through the door
- Negotiating full terms packages and making the commercial calls on customer and project activity
- Building many to many relationships so accounts sit with CCF, not just with you
- Tracking projects, customers and market movements so nothing lands as a surprise
- Reading the market properly: who's competing and what's shifting
- Supporting and mentoring sales colleagues around you

What We're Looking For
- A track record in sales management, ideally somewhere in construction, merchanting or distribution
- Someone data led. You look at the numbers, spot the gap, and adjust
- A strong negotiator and an even better listener
- Comfortable at pace and under pressure, and confident in a difficult conversation
- Commercially sharp, with a clear view of the customer and the competition
- Full UK driving licence
