Customer Account Manager – Digital Print (Food Packaging)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Digital Print department at our Kent offices, specialising in digitally printed food packaging. We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking member of staff to join our friendly team and support the Retention and Strong Relationship Management of our existing customer base.
Job Overview
The role involves managing current customer accounts, providing admin and operational support to Sales and New Business teams, and ensuring efficient and accurate fulfillment of client requirements in a fast-paced production environment.

Full training will be provided, so prior experience is not mandatory.

Account Management
- Manage existing customer accounts and ensure their requirements are met
- Daily liaising with customers via email, phone, and site visits
- Identify business growth opportunities with current clients
- Provide timely quotations within-agreed deadlines
- Handle customer Quality (NCR) concerns: investigation, resolution, and continuous improvement
- Lead account management meetings onsite at client premises
- Coordinate with external suppliers for outsourced work
- Manage current artwork and process new artwork requests
- Request and organise new product samples from the design team
Sales Team Support & Administration
- Assist Sales and New Business Teams in order bookings
- Input new customer orders into internal systems, pack job documents, and verify accuracy
- Provide updates on repeat business to the sales team
- Handle repeat client enquiries and queries efficiently
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly customer reports
- Arrange deliveries with the warehouse, issuing delivery notes
- Support the artwork processing workflow
Additional Duties
- Coordinate production timelines with planning teams
- Request job layouts and dies for production
- Manage material pre-cutting for guillotine processing
- Input job reconciliation data into internal systems
- Prevent prospects demanding service by website/webotherints inquiries
- Cover digital office roles during absences or on leave
- Oversee warehouse goods delivery

Candidate Requirements
- Account Management & Customer Service experience preferred
- FMCG / Manufacturing industry knowledge beneficial (not essential)
- High attention to detail, excellent organisation skills
- Ambitious, with a willingness to learn
- Proactive can-do attitude and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated, team player, comfortable multitasking
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Print & Packaging industry exposure advantageous but not compulsory
- Must meet deadlines, excel in fast-paced environments
Working Terms
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break
- Salary: Dependent on experience
