As we continue to grow our footprint, we are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing UK team to help manage the growth of important key accounts, while also ensuring brand excellence. Working closely with the Senior Account Manager, the main focus of this role is supporting on the day to day communication & administration to grow the brand across the UK. Our goal is to become the number one go-to leading soft toy brand for all ages globally. You will work incredibly closely and collaboratively with our UK Sales team as we embark on growing Jellycat. There is a great ‘can-do’ team culture here at Jellycat, and it’s important that you are not only a self-starting ambassador and sales person for Jellycat but are a great team player willing to get involved in what needs to be done in order to achieve great things to support the global growth of the brand. You'll be; Responsible for a portfolio of retailer accounts as the first point of contact for all general queries and determining who internally can resolve queries/find solutions. Able to understand the wider context of managing accounts; liaising with different functions of the business internally. Promoting retail excellence, build relationships with shop floor teams through regular visits and brand training. Ensure branded spaces as well maintained and well stocked. Tracking seasonal and continuity orders against accounts’ annual sales plan. Analysing and tracking retailer sell through reports, presenting findings to Senior Account Manager. Review internal stock availability and provide suggestions, based on sales insights. Previewing new collections to accounts, maintaining a premium presentation in the showroom. Maintaining high levels of communication including weekly internal meetings, plus regular virtual meetings and range reviews with customers alongside the Senior Account Manager and Team Leader. Lead meetings when necessary. Liaising with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of all orders. Managing open orders and back orders for accounts, review against budget and YTD sales. Issuing accurate weekly orderbook reports to the accounts, resolving any issues that arise. Keying in orders onto our system accurately, when needed. Checking stock availability & allocation across different warehouses & origins. Sending order confirmations & advise on stock availability. Liaising with credit control on payments, managing orders against credit limit. Ensuring system data integrity (skus/qty/dates) for the accounts in your remit, using both internal and external portals/EDI. Creating relevant presentations to highlight data, insights and achievements which can be shared both internally and externally. These need to be concise, clear and well presented. Supporting the UK sales team in the overall growth of the accounts and providing support wherever required to achieve the annual budgets. Assising with any other administrative tasks to help support the Senior Account Manager and Team Leader. Helping to train/mentor new team members when required. Monitoring and maintain customer data. Providing clear and regular updates to the Senior Account Manager. You'll have; Minimum of 3-4 years proven experience in an Account Executive / Management role. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, SAP. Good at communication and presentation skills. Good at building & maintaining effective professional relationships at all levels internally & externally. A personable and positive mindset and approach. The ability to remain focused on maximising sales through professional relationships whilst understanding and respecting business limitations and brand guidelines. The ability to remain mindful of the Jellycat ‘tone’ and communication style associated with our brand. Experienece working for a creative business being creative, intuitive, imaginative & open-minded. An ability to think outside the box with regards to problem solving. The ability to enjoy talking about your ideas or opinions with others & thrive in group settings where you can interact with others.
