Account Manager Position at Radius

Originally founded on the 8th of January 1990 as UK Fuels—a fuel card business based above a hair salon in Holmes Chapel, UK—Radius has since grown into a 6 business-unit company operating across 19 countries globally, employing nearly 3,000 people.
Job Purpose
The role of Account Manager is essential to our success. You will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing strategic relationships with our top-tier customers
- Based in our Crewe office (we’d love to welcome you!)
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth & Customer Engagement
- Develop and drive the account management strategic plan to achieve customer growth and profitability
- Act as the primary company representative for over 800 customers
- Provide expert guidance on:
- Fuel needs
- EV adoption & charging solutions
- Fuel types
- Energy efficiency options
- Champion a consultative, solution-led approach, positioning Radius as a full-service provider rather than a single-function business
- Foster customer loyalty by introducing the complete Radius product suite
- Tailor communications and engagement strategies to meet customer-specific needs
Collaboration & Business Support
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to help realise and reinforce company-wide strategic goals

What We’re Looking For
- Industry experience: Previous roles in customer service, sales, or account management
- Communication skills: Outstanding ability to connect, negotiate, and present effectively
- Strategic mindset: Proven track record in strategic thinking and long-term planning
- Negotiation strengths: Ability to advise and recommend solutions while driving commercial outcomes
- Tech literacy: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
