Job Description

Position: Account Manager

Location: Waterlooville

Pelham Laboratories is a specialist skincare and haircare contract manufacturer, focused on delivering added value to our clients. Based in Hampshire, we partner with leading premium, niche, and cult beauty brands across the UK and Europe, offering bespoke brand development and production services from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

About the Role

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships, supporting the delivery of sales targets, and ensuring excellent service to both new and existing clients. The role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships to support customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Deliver agreed sales targets and support the achievement of wider team objectives.
  • Work with customers to understand requirements, prepare costings, and agree forecasts.
  • Support the delivery of new product development projects, collaborating with NPD, Technical, Purchasing, and Operations teams.
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to increase growth and profitability.
  • Prepare reports and updates for internal and customer meetings.
  • Contribute to business development by supporting the identification and approach of new customers.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in account management or a client-facing role within Health & Beauty or FMCG.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
