Job summary:
You will be assisting in leading provision of a superb, proactive service to our clients and delivering work of the highest quality. Working closely with colleagues and other disciplines to deliver strategically sound projects on time, on budget and in line with our agency/client standards and internal systems. Working closely with Account Director, you will help in the running of day-to-day activity across accounts and assisting with campaign delivery overall, and taking responsibility for certain, agreed projects.
Job responsibilities:
Client Management / Relationships:
- Build and maintain client relationships, running the day-to-day client liaison
- Deal with requests promptly
- Managing client expectations
- Assist/provide support to Business Coordinators in scheduling client meetings, developing notes
- Support on developing client meeting agenda
- Oversee and check status reports associated contact reports/client calls from Business Coordinator; and triaging the actions accordingly (work with the Project Manager)
- Make sure all agreements are accurately documented and circulated to the client, working with the Business Coordinator where needed
- Discussing work with client, talking them through amends and changes implemented

Business Acumen:
- Build experience with the strategic 6Cs and proprietary tools within the agency (Workfront, Vantage, Float, etc)
- Gain exposure by working with other agencies across the network
- Understand how the projects link together/interdependencies to achieve client goals/objectives
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and key messaging and understand how this is applied across our agency deliverables
Financials:
- Ensure SoWs are in line with client expectations whilst working closely with the Project Manager
- Have visibility and demonstrate understanding of forecasting and recognising revenue, sharing joint responsibility for meeting targets with the Project Manager
- Agree invoice schedule with client
- Ensure client financial check-ins occur once a month, jointly with the Project Manager
Day-to-day Delivery:
- On top of the current status, knowing where project is in agency at any given stage
- Understand different agency disciplines and their deliverables
- Have a broad knowledge of agency process
- Support and/or prepare written briefs to be shared for input from key internal stakeholders before going out for client sign off
- Review deliverables to ensure they meet the approved brief and/or all client feedback has been implemented
- Working with the Project Manager, ensuring project is managed to delivery spec and deadlines according to client expectations
- Attend and actively contribute to wash-up sessions of allocated projects
- Follow and champion McCann Health processes and best practice for designated projects including all required documentation
- Pay attention to details, ensuring accuracy across all agency documents and outputs
- Attendance of weekly resource planning, helping the Project Manager ensure all bookings are in place

Business Development:
- Support the Senior Client Lead to develop new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Working with the project team, offering solutions beyond what the client has asked for
- Shadow and support pitch/proposals teams
Leadership and Direction:
- For smaller projects, able to provide direction to internal teams
Line Management and Team Development:
- Mentoring new Business Coordinators/interns
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Previous experience in healthcare advertising
- Interest in healthcare
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Digital, media, social and analytics knowledge a plus
