Premium Food Producer | Artisan Meat Specialist
📍 Location: South London. 2–3 days per week* in the office
🟢 Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (plus bonus)
About the Role
Are you passionate about quality, the craft behind British produce, and helping a trusted name grow? We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our 60-year-old business, where quality and reputation are everything.
We source and deliver premium British meat—from Norfolk beef and Hampshire lamb to Yorkshire poultry—direct from farmers to kitchens, whether through wholesale channels or direct-to-customer sales.
As our in-house quality champion, you’ll:
- Build and manage key retailer, foodservice, and distributor accounts
- Drive new business growth and strategic expansion
- Ensure every order lives up to our standards—because our customers expect nothing less

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Identify and target new business opportunities, expanding distribution networks
- Act as the in-house quality champion, enforcing rigorous standards across all suppliers and products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, foodservice partners, and distributors
- Collaborate on strategies to drive company growth while upholding quality
- Represent the brand at trade events and customer visits
Requirements
âś… 3+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within:
- Food production
- FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) ✅ A deep knowledge of British meat—crops, sourcing methods, and quality standards ✅ Natural relationship-building skills—you delight customers and influencers ✅ Confident communicator with a genuine passion for promoting British produce
