Account Manager
Major Players are partnering with a reputable global B2B marketing agency to recruit for an Account Manager. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want hands-on exposure to high-profile global clients - this role is for you.
As an Account Manager, you'll take the lead on client relationships and the strategic delivery of B2B marketing campaigns for tech clients, with a strong focus on events. You'll manage internal teams, drive projects from brief to execution, and ensure every campaign lands on time, on budget, and delivers real, measurable impact for your clients.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Own and nurture long-term client relationships, serving as the primary day-to-day point of contact.
- Lead regular client meetings and calls, covering progress, performance, timelines, and feedback — while consistently identifying opportunities to add value.
- Anticipate and address client needs proactively, managing risks early and working with internal teams to implement effective solutions.
- Build a deep understanding of each client's business, industry, and objectives to provide informed, strategic input across campaigns.
- Prepare and present clear, insightful reports on account status, campaign performance, and key metrics for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Planning & Project Management
- Collaborate closely with the Client Lead and Strategy Director to develop tailored marketing and business development strategies aligned to each client's goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns and marketing activities, ensuring they stay on track and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Stay across industry trends and competitor activity, translating insights into relevant, innovative recommendations for clients.
- Produce polished presentations, decks, and reports for client meetings and reviews.

Account Team Management
- Lead and coordinate internal teams across your accounts, cultivating a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Manage the allocation of internal resources effectively to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all accounts.
Event Management
- Work with clients to define clear event objectives, KPIs, and success metrics from the outset.
- Take full ownership of event logistics, managing all moving parts to ensure seamless execution.
- Source and secure venues suited to each event's requirements, and identify and confirm relevant speakers.
- Brief designers on landing page creative, ensuring all assets are on-brand and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Be present on event day to manage delivery, handle any issues, and ensure a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
- Travel for events outside the UK when required.
Financial Management
- Own client and project budgets, keeping campaigns within scope and on budget throughout.
- Prepare and present regular financial updates to the Client Lead and clients as required.
- Track budget performance with a focus on both profitability and value delivery.
Operational Excellence
- Champion internal processes to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency across all accounts.
- Stay close to client satisfaction levels, proactively raising challenges with your Client Lead to protect and grow long-term partnerships.
- Drive joined-up, integrated campaign delivery through strong cross-team collaboration.

New Business
- Lead the development of proposals for new business opportunities, contributing strategic thinking, shaping recommendations, and coordinating input from across the agency.
Experience Required:
- 3–5 years of account management experience, with some of that experience working on B2B clients or within events.
- A proven track record of managing complex campaigns and building strong client relationships.
- Demonstrable experience managing budgets and tracking financial performance across accounts.
- Hands-on experience in event planning and execution.
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with Monday.com as a project management tool.
- Experience working within a CRM system.

Full time
Salary:
£36-45,000, depending on experience
Office Location:
East Central London
Office Requirements:
3 days per week in the office (Mon, Weds & Thurs)
