Account Manager
Account Manager - £50,000 - £60,000 as base plus uncapped commission - London/hybrid
I'm currently working with a business that is looking to hire an Account Manager to join their growing team.
This role is focused on managing and developing strategic client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of services, and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, working closely with internal delivery and technical teams to ensure customer objectives are achieved and service levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their business objectives, challenges and priorities • Develop and execute account plans that align with customer goals and support long-term account growth • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services and solutions within existing accounts • Coordinate with delivery, technical and commercial teams to ensure successful project and service delivery • Provide regular customer updates, manage expectations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction • Resolve customer issues and escalations by collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver effective solutions • Support contract renewals and commercial discussions where required • Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for additional value and service enhancement

Experience Required: • Previous experience in an Account Management, Customer Success, Client Partner or Account Director position • Experience managing and growing technology services accounts • Proven experience selling or positioning AWS, cloud, data or broader technology solutions and services to customers • Strong understanding of cloud transformation, managed services, consulting or digital transformation engagements • Proven ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships • Demonstrable experience identifying and delivering account growth opportunities through a land-and-expand approach • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business objectives • Excellent communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience working with cross-functional technical and delivery teams to achieve successful customer outcomes
