The Converge Sales Team is hiring an Account Manager with a proven background in non-franchised electronic component distribution. This is a fully sales-driven, target-oriented role designed for professionals who understand the realities of the independent electronics market — including spot buying, allocation shortages, end-of-life components, and fast-moving demand.

This position requires hands-on experience within independent distribution.

You will be responsible for acquiring new business, reactivating underpenetrated or neglected accounts, and growing strategic customer relationships across the UK region. You will act as a trusted commercial partner to customers who rely on alternative sourcing strategies and market intelligence.

The position is fully remote and open to candidates based across the United Kingdom.

What will you be doing at Converge?

  • Proactively identify demand and supply opportunities for obsolete electronic components.
  • Excellent communication skills and genuine enjoyment of phone calls and direct customer interaction.
  • Rebuild and expand underdeveloped or inactive customer accounts.
  • Actively source new business through targeted prospecting and market research.
  • Develop pricing, quotations, and proposals aligned with independent market conditions.
  • Manage the full order-to-invoice lifecycle, ensuring speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market dynamics, pricing fluctuations, and availability in the global component market.
  • Represent Converge at industry events and customer meetings to strengthen market presence.

To be successful in this role, furthermore you need
