Account Manager

Account Manager – Full-Time Role at Harwell, Moderna Innovation & Technology Centre

Equans is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week) at Moderna’s Harwell site. This is a customer-facing role requiring leadership, technical expertise, and strong stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

Moderna’s Harwell Innovation and Technology Centre (MITC) is a state-of-the-art facility responsible for the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical products, including manufacturing, clean rooms, labs, and technical plant areas.

The role demands strict adherence to clean room standards and ISO-aligned Quality Management Systems (QMS). The Account Manager must ensure near-internal continuity of critical HVAC and technical operations through proactive maintenance, stakeholder collaboration, and contractual compliance. This is a high-impact commercial and technical leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Delivery & Compliance

  • Manage and deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works as per service agreements.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across plant, laboratory, and manufacturing environments, ensuring strong collaborative relationships.
  • Cost-effectively meet contractual deliverables, including SLAs and KPIs, while minimising penalties for non-compliance.

Leadership & Performance Management

  • Mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary on-site team (engineering, operational, administrative) to enhance technical expertise.
  • Implement a high-performance culture, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional service.
  • Align organizational goals with growing client expectations, ensuring consistent stakeholder satisfaction.

Risk, Safety & Compliance

  • Manage health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality risks, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, PPE policies, and GxP/GMP guidelines.
  • Maintain a Risk Register (RAG-embedded) for proactive threat mitigation.
  • Ensure full documentation compliance—ICSMS, CAFM systems, and PPM job plans.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
