Account Manager
Warm enquiries | Specialist projects | Full training | Clear progression
We're looking for ambitious, customer-focused individuals to join our growing Utility Connections team.
This isn't a cold-calling sales role.
Instead, you'll manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to quotation, project delivery, and completion, helping customers navigate specialist infrastructure projects while building long-term relationships and growing your accounts.
You'll join a small, close-knit team where support, collaboration, and progression are genuinely part of the culture. Many of our managers have been promoted from within, and we're committed to developing people who want to build a long-term career with us.
About the role
Every project is different.
- One day you could be helping a homeowner with a property improvement project.
- The next, you could be supporting a developer delivering multiple new-build properties, commercial projects, or large-scale infrastructure works.
We operate within a specialist utility infrastructure sector, supporting customers with a wide range of gas, electricity, water, and renewable energy projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
