Why we need this role
We are creating a new Sales Associate role to support our regional account executives on our top tier customers within a region. The Sales Associates will manage transactional sales activity, support renewals, and contribute to overall account growth. The role plays a key part in delivering an excellent customer experience while ensuring opportunities are proactively identified, progressed, and closed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is passionate about customer engagement, commercial growth, and developing enterprise sales skills within the telecoms industry.
What You Will Do
- Partner with the Account Executive (AE) to support the management and growth of assigned strategic accounts.
- Act as a day-to-day contact for transactional sales activities within assigned customers.
- Assist in executing the account strategy and identifying opportunities for expansion.
- Own and manage transactional sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Proactively identify customer needs and position relevant telecoms solutions.
- Progress opportunities through the sales cycle in collaboration with the AE and internal teams.
- Manage the sales side of contract renewals, including preparing renewal proposals and engaging with customers.
- Ensure renewals are proactively managed to secure retention and identify upsell opportunities in partnership with the Account executive
- Work with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate renewal execution.
- Join customer meetings alongside Account Executives to support relationship development and opportunity progression.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives and help address commercial queries.

- Some sales, account management, or customer-facing experience (B2B preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
- Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Commercial mindset with an interest in developing a career in sales
A Bonus If You Have
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, or B2B services.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience supporting renewals or transactional sales cycles.
