About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Account Manager to lead business development within our growing Sports Modular Retail division.

Working with some of the biggest names in sport and live events, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing key client relationships across the UK and Europe. Our modular retail solutions are trusted by Premier League football clubs, rugby clubs, cricket grounds, racecourses, stadium operators, music festivals, and major sporting events to deliver high-quality merchandise stores, ticket offices, fan zones, and retail spaces. Some of our biggest clients include the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal FC, Lord’s Cricket Ground, AELTC Wimbledon, and Silverstone Racecourse.

You'll take ownership of the entire sales process, developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building long-term client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on winning new business, enjoys working autonomously, and has a passion for delivering innovative retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and contract completion.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the sports, leisure, and events sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including sports clubs, venue operators, retailers, and commercial partners.
  • Present and position our modular retail and merchandise solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close high-value sales opportunities.
  • Manage and develop key client accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and repeat business.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM, providing regular forecasting and reporting.
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the sports retail sector.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
