About the Role
A growing B2B PR and communications agency is looking for an Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The agency works with an interesting mix of clients across marketing, technology, and professional services, and is evolving its offer to provide more strategic, business-focused support alongside traditional media relations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop beyond day-to-day press office work.

Responsibilities

  • Client relationship management on a day-to-day basis, working across a portfolio of B2B clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant trade, sector, and national media
  • Spot proactive media opportunities, newsjacking angles, and creative narratives that support client business needs
  • Develop and pitch targeted sell-ins with confidence and persistence
  • Support delivery of PR and communications plans, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept updated
  • Contribute to client calls and meetings, building confidence as a day-to-day contact
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, market, and commercial pressures
  • Support new business activity, including research, credentials, and pitch support
  • Help guide junior colleagues, particularly around media relations habits and opportunity spotting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
