Account Manager – Enterprise | SaaS | Public Sector | Remote | Up to £70,000 Base + OTE £140,000 (uncapped)

Join a high-growth SaaS business transforming the construction and built environment sector through innovative technology.

Our client is a market-leading software provider delivering cutting-edge solutions to enterprise organisations across the construction and built environment sector. Backed by over £120m in funding and having doubled in size over the last two years, they are continuing to scale rapidly and invest heavily in growth.

As part of this expansion, they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of public sector customers (local authorities and highway authorities).

This is a strategic, revenue-focused role where you'll be responsible for:

  • Building executive-level relationships
  • Driving customer success
  • Protecting recurring revenue
  • Identifying opportunities to expand the partnership across multiple business units and stakeholders

Fully remote, with occasional travel for customer meetings, industry events, and team collaboration days.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of public sector accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, decision-makers, and executive sponsors
  • Understand local and highway authorities business objectives and align solutions to deliver measurable value
  • Identify and execute upsell, cross-sell, and account expansion opportunities
  • Lead account planning, QBRs, renewal discussions, and commercial negotiations
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM records
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to maximise customer outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to public sector customers

The Successful Candidate:

  • 5+ years' sales or account management experience working with public sector customers
  • Experience of working with local authorities / local councils / highway authorities is advantageous
  • Proven track record of growing, retaining, and expanding enterprise customer accounts
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise organisations
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build relationships and influence C-level and senior decision-makers
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is advantageous

Account Manager Package:

  • Basic salary up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
