Account Manager
Cardiff (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
£35,000 + Uncapped Commission (OTE £65,000+)
CPS Group are supporting a fast-growing software consultancy in Cardiff with the recruitment of two Account Managers to join their expanding commercial team.
This isn't a new business sales role. Instead, you'll inherit a portfolio of established clients, building long-term relationships, identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts, and becoming a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. If you enjoy developing accounts rather than cold prospecting, this could be the perfect opportunity.
The Role
- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing client accounts.
- Building relationships with C-Suite and senior stakeholders across public and private sector organisations.
- Identifying opportunities to expand existing services and generate additional revenue.
- Working closely with technical delivery teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
- Producing account plans, revenue forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience in Account Management, Client Success, or Customer Success within a software, technology, or IT services environment.
- A demonstrable track record of growing existing customer accounts and exceeding commercial targets.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business challenges into technology solutions.
- Previous experience working with software development, digital transformation, or technology consulting businesses would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working with Public Sector, Local Government, or Housing Association clients would be beneficial.
