Are you an experienced Account Manager who knows how to build long-term, trusted relationships within the public sector? Our client, a well-established employee-owned IT and technology solutions provider, is looking for a driven, relationship-first Account Manager to grow their presence across public sector clients in Scotland's Central Belt.

The Role As Account Manager, you'll own and grow a portfolio of public sector accounts, selling professional and managed IT services. You'll be the trusted face of the business for your clients — understanding their challenges, spotting opportunities, and bringing the right people in from the technical teams to deliver.

What you'll be doing
- Building and managing relationships with public sector clients across the Central Belt
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Working closely with technical and delivery teams to shape solutions that fit client needs
- Managing the full sales cycle, from opportunity through to contract and renewal
- Keeping a close eye on public sector procurement frameworks and tender processes
- Representing the business at client meetings, events, and industry forums
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar, ideally selling services into the public sector
- A strong track record of managing relationships and growing accounts
- Comfortable working with procurement frameworks and formal tender/bid processes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Based in or around the Central Belt, with flexibility to travel to clients
- A genuine interest in technology and how it helps organisations work better (IT/professional services sales background a plus, but not essential)
