Account Manager - 6 month contract, likely to go permanent.
Location: Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 from home.
Salary: Up to £32,000, depending on experience, plus commission.
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday.
An established national service provider is looking for a motivated Account Manager to manage inbound enquiries, develop existing customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
This is a varied, customer-focused role combining account management with proactive business development. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, recommend appropriate solutions and ensure they receive a responsive and professional service.

Key responsibilities
- Managing inbound sales enquiries and providing tailored solutions
- Making proactive outbound calls to develop new and existing accounts
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and account value
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
- Maintaining accurate customer and sales information within the CRM
- Collaborating with operational teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
About you
- Previous experience in sales, account management or a similar customer-focused role
- Confident handling both inbound enquiries and outbound sales activity
- Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and motivated by achieving results
- Comfortable using CRM systems and other business software
- Able to solve problems and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within transport, logistics or another operational service industry would be advantageous
