The Role

This is a EMEA role for one of Mindshare’s biggest clients, Electronic Arts. Within EMEA ‘FC’ (Football & Sports EA gaming titles) acts as a global function in the EMEA team. This means for FC the EMEA team will interface directly with Global and EMEA clients’ teams.

In this role, you will act as a key day-to-day point of contact for regional EA clients and internal agency teams. You will help coordinate regional media planning recommendations and support client presentations, helping to represent EMEA market needs and nuances. Working collaboratively across all disciplines (strategy, planning, digital, Analytics & Reporting), you will serve as a reliable, trusted partner to both your clients and internal teams.

Supporting the senior planning team, you will help execute EA's day-to-day requirements and campaign deliverables. You will also work closely with Client Leadership and the network team to drive operational excellence, implement best practices, and ensure seamless, integrated ways of working across all markets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting Growth Led Client Vision:

    • Assist in driving adoption of the annual vision; support identification of opportunities to showcase progress with team
  • FC and EMEA Market Planning Visibility & SLA Management:

    • Ensure local markets are working to Global, Region, and Local SLAs
    • Lead briefing planning visibility trackers ensure team have visibility on key local market projects and timelines
    • Assist in managing market delivery, ensuring timely delivery
    • Analyse workflows for bottlenecks and propose improvements.
  • Day To Client Workstreams & Management:

    • Streamline information flow between Global, Regional, and local teams.
    • Support Strategy, Planning, and Digital teams with market requests; presents when relevant at key team and client meetings
    • Collaborate with team clients, external agencies to drive efficient and effective output and workstreams
    • Attend key meetings (internal and client) and contribute where needed and capture next steps and action
    • Streamline information flow between Global, Regional, and local teams.
  • Planning Quality & Governance (Support):

    • Monitor campaign documentation for adherence to global and regional guidelines.
    • Drive stewardship to maintain EA standards.
    • Support in the evaluation of relevant local markets workstreams including ad hoc request and provide feedback
    • Maintain a central repository of planning documents.
  • Active Best Practice Sharing With Markets:

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, organise and maintain a centralised knowledge repository.
    • Identify local market opportunities for wider application.
    • Recognise and reward best practice sharing and stay up to date on industry trends.
    • Monitor competitor activity in collaboration with the team and support on ad hoc requests
    • Curate and share relevant content, adapt and apply best practices.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, self-starter, a proactive orchestrator with a passion for gaming or sports. They will work within the team that manages EA entertainment titles e.g. Battlefield, Sims, Skate to name a few. Mindshare / WPP Media team on EA deliver exceptional value by championing a compelling vision, fueling growth through innovative planning, and ensuring financial and operational excellence. A commitment to continuous improvement, solutions-oriented thinking, and maximising impact is essential.

The ideal candidate will have good media planning experience is required, gaming and entertainment industry experience plus. This individual must understand client needs, and work with team to develop impactful solutions collaboratively with strategy, audience, and digital leads. They will seamlessly integrate media and creative workstreams through close collaboration with creative agencies and client teams. Strong understanding of digital and offline channels
