Job Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for growing and retaining strategic client accounts by aligning client objectives with VSI’s localization capabilities. Acting as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors, the role ensures exceptional service delivery, commercial growth, and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction. Create and execute strategic account plans aligned with client and business objectives. Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across VSI services. Act as the primary escalation point for client-related issues and ensure timely resolution. Conduct regular client meetings, performance reviews, and business updates. Driving internal communications; setting expectation with internal stakeholders, including across our VSI studios Leading tooling implementation; building strong relationships with our Technology and Development teams, delivering workflow enhancements Achieve and exceed revenue and gross-margin targets across assigned accounts. Prepare competitive and profitable client quotations and pricing proposals. Support RFP/RFI responses and client rate-card reviews. Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines and sales forecasts within CRM systems. Collaborate with Project Management, Finance, and Vendor Management teams to ensure seamless delivery. Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate cost-effective vendor rates while maintaining quality standards. Support SLA tracking and account performance reporting. Ensure CRM/Pipedrive records remain accurate and up to date. Provide management with regular updates on account performance, risks, and growth opportunities. Analyse account data and trends to support strategic decisions. Stay informed on localization industry trends, competitor activity, and client expectations.

3–5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or commercial roles. Experience within localization, media localization, translation, dubbing, subtitling, or related language services industries preferred. Strong understanding of commercial forecasting, profitability, and revenue growth. Experience using CRM systems such as Pipedrive, Salesforce, or HubSpot. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
