Role Description

The Account Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cardiff. In this role, the Account Manager will manage day-to-day relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for service delivery and performance queries.

  • Overseeing contract execution
  • Coordinating with operational teams
  • Monitoring service quality against agreed KPIs
  • Preparing regular reports on performance and customer satisfaction
  • Handling issue resolution
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance service and value
  • Supporting renewal and growth of accounts
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Participating in client meetings
  • Ensuring that all activities align with company standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in account management, client service, or customer success, ideally within a facilities, services, or B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and manage expectations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in organizing workloads, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively in a fast-paced, service-led environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with reporting, KPI tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfort with using standard business software (e.g., MS Office, CRM tools) and producing clear written documentation and presentations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operations teams on-site, demonstrating leadership, accountability, and a focus on service quality.
  • Previous experience in the UK or Irish service sectors and knowledge of relevant compliance or health and safety standards is beneficial.
  • Relevant professional qualification or equivalent practical experience in business, management, or a related field is desirable.
