The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to manage and develop an existing portfolio of accounts. This role is central to driving customer retention, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
You will act as the voice of the customer within Elis, building strong relationships, implementing strategic account plans, and supporting customers to achieve their goals while contributing to the continued success of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts with a strong focus on retention and relationship development.
- Analyse customer feedback, complaints, and lost business data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Identify and deliver cross-selling and growth opportunities across the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain Customer Account Plans to manage risks and maximise opportunities.
- Achieve growth targets through effective account management and commercial planning.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer-related matters.
- Build a deep understanding of customer needs, priorities, and future requirements.
- Ensure service levels and customer agreements are maintained and continuously improved.
- Track and forecast customer performance metrics, identifying potential opportunities and risks.
- Support the resolution of outstanding debt issues through effective customer engagement.
- Review account profitability and recommend service enhancements where appropriate.
- Implement agreed pricing strategies and negotiate annual price increases.
- Drive continuous improvement and provide commercially focused solutions to customer challenges.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret data.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and multiple locations.
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
- Full UK driving licence.
