An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic and friendly team at Pivotal Sec Plus to drive commercial growth and expansion of the business across UK and Ireland. We are therefore looking to recruit a talented high-calibre person to join us at this exciting time for Pivotal Sec Plus.

What We Offer
Rate of Pay
- A competitive salary dependent upon experience.
- Contracted to work 40 hours per week.
- Paid monthly by credit transfer to your nominated bank account.
Location
- Job role is based at our Hartlepool office.
Pension Scheme
- After 3-months service with the company, you will be automatically enrolled in the company pension (NEST), if eligible.

Job Description
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships, drive account growth, and support long-term retention.
You will work closely with operational teams, sales colleagues, and senior management to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered effectively. You will report directly to the Head of Customer Services and work collaboratively across the business to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular customer reviews to understand client needs and identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure service delivery meets agreed customer expectations and contractual obligations.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and support business growth initiatives.
- Prepare customer reports, presentations, and account reviews as required.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and take proactive steps to address concerns and improve service levels.
- Support retention activities and contribute to the successful renewal of customer contracts.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account information within company systems.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and effective resolution of customer requests.
- Support onboarding activities for new customers and ensure a smooth transition into operational service.
- Ensure all customer interactions reflect the company’s values and commitment to excellence.

About You
- Previous experience in an Account Management, Customer Service, or Client Relationship role.
- Strong customer relationship management skills with a proven ability to build trust and credibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of completing tenders with master-vendors, local authorities, and large commercial organizations.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify business opportunities.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving license (desirable).
