A specialist consumer PR agency is hiring a Senior Account Manager to support the continued growth of its consumer brand portfolio.
Working with some of the UK’s best-known retail, consumer and lifestyle brands, you’ll lead day-to-day client relationships, deliver creative PR campaigns and play an important role within a close-knit, entrepreneurial agency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a business where they’ll have real ownership, direct client exposure and the chance to progress as the agency continues to grow.
Role: Senior Account Manager
Salary: Up to £52,000
Location: London (Soho), hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of integrated consumer PR campaigns across a portfolio of retail, consumer and lifestyle brands.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard.
- Develop creative campaign ideas that generate meaningful media coverage and commercial impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, publishers, influencers and media contacts.
- Manage campaign budgets, reporting and commercial performance across your accounts.
- Support new business activity through proposals, pitches and presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team, providing guidance and feedback.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to help drive client success and agency growth.

What you’ll need
- Strong consumer PR agency experience, ideally within retail, consumer lifestyle or FMCG.
- Previous experience operating as a Senior Account Manager or similar level within an agency.
- Excellent media relationships across consumer and retail publications.
- Strong experience delivering integrated PR campaigns across press, social and influencer activity.
- Excellent Excel and spreadsheet management skills, with experience managing budgets and campaign reporting.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of KPIs, ROI and account performance.
- Experience managing client relationships and juggling multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Comfortable working within a small, entrepreneurial agency where you’ll have genuine ownership.
- A genuine passion for consumer brands and a well-researched understanding of the agency and its client portfolio.
- Experience working with publishers or affiliate marketing campaigns would be advantageous.
- Applicants from hospitality or trade PR backgrounds are unlikely to be suitable for this position.

- Experience with PR tools such as Roxhill, Cision, Onclusive or Releasd.
- Experience contributing to new business pitches and presentations.
- Understanding of affiliate marketing and the evolving consumer PR landscape.
