Account Manager - Automation Solutions (Full-Time, Hybrid/R trabalho remoto)

The Opportunity
The Account Manager (AM) is a results-driven sales professional responsible for driving profitable growth by acquiring, expanding, and retaining customer accounts. This role delivers resilient automation solutions while acting as a trusted partner to customers, ensuring reliability, technical excellence, and long-term satisfaction.
The Account Manager (AM) must:
- Collaborate with executives, influencers, and decision-makers within the customer’s organisation and project team (Owner, EPC/A&E/Engineer/MEP, Construction firms).
- Expand accounts on an annual basis to meet new order targets.
- Support other strategic business objectives as required.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed annual goals.
- Maximize revenue potential of strategic accounts by identifying and closing new opportunities.
- Expand accounts annually through delivery of value-aligned solutions.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline within assigned accounts.
- Deliver high customer satisfaction through proactive communication, value delivery, and issue resolution.
- Develop and execute account plans for key clients, aligned with their capital projects, technology roadmaps, and resiliency requirements.
- Manage bid/RFP processes effectively, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Work cross-functionally with technical sales and project delivery teams to refine proposals.
- Represent the firm at industry events and professional societies.
- Manage CRM operations, maintaining transparent data for forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and expectations.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with internal teams, customers, and partners.
- Identify and escalate risks, constraints, or scope changes promptly.

- Adhere to company policies, QMS requirements, and safety standards.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality results with strong attention to detail.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to efficiency enhancements.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years minimum experience in a relevant industry.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and accountable.
- Strong communication, active listening, and engagement abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing priorities and deadlines.
- Sound decision-making under pressure.
- Commitment to quality, safety, continuous learning, and personal growth.
- Sales strategy expert capable of identifying and persuading target customers.
- Ability to clearly articulate value and tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Deep understanding of automation systems in critical environments (e.g., BMS, EPMS).
- Familiarity with platforms like Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Siemens.
- Technical CRM, MS Office, and PDF software proficiency.
