About the Role
As a high-growth organisation, we’re looking for a commercially driven Account Manager with a strong technology background to join our growing team. You'll own a portfolio of key client relationships, ensuring clients realise maximum value from their engagement with Codiance, while proactively identifying and converting opportunities to grow revenue across your accounts.
This role involves a high capability of relationship management, commercial management and strategic insight. You'll engage confidently at senior and leadership level, bring rigour and detail to everything you do and provide the business with clear, accurate visibility of pipeline and forecast performance.

Codiance was established 15+ years ago and has a deep history of supporting clients in a consultative approach to drive meaningful, lasting change. We're growing quickly, expanding our client base and building a team of exceptional people who want to grow with us.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of key client accounts, serving as the primary and most trusted point of contact at Codiance
- Build deep relationships across client organisations, including at Director and C-suite level to understand their strategic priorities and technology challenges
- Identify, develop and close new opportunities for account expansion
- Work closely with our operations and delivery teams to ensure seamless client experiences and high quality outcomes
- Maintain meticulous account records, contact mapping and opportunity tracking, the detail matters
- Represent Codiance at sector events and contribute to the firm's growing profile within public sector and commercial sector markets

Essential Experience and Qualifications
- 3–5 years' experience in account management, client success, or business development within a software, IT, or technology services environment
- A solid understanding of software development (.Net preferable), digital transformation, CMS platforms (Umbraco preferable) or technology consulting, you don't need to be an engineer, but you must be able to speak the language credibly
- Demonstrable track record of growing revenue within existing accounts and hitting commercial targets
- Experience engaging and building relationships with senior stakeholders, including leadership and executive teams
- Exceptional attention to detail, in communications, reporting, proposals and account planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style from technical teams to board-level audiences
- Comfortable producing and presenting revenue forecasts and pipeline reports to internal leadership
- Experience working with or selling into public sector organisations is a distinct advantage
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.

- Competitive salary of £35,000 + commission (OTE £65,000+)
