Digital 51 is exclusively partnered with an established independent creative performance agency to appoint a Performance Marketing Account Manager.

*PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A Performance Marketing Account Manager role, BUT LINKEDIN MAKES US USE THE AM TITLE TO ADVERTISE

Working across hospitality, leisure, lifestyle, eCommerce and the wider consumer economy, the agency brings together performance marketing, creative thinking, audience understanding and digital experience to help ambitious brands connect with customers and deliver measurable commercial results.

The business has built an impressive portfolio of recognised brands, with many client relationships developing through recommendation, repeat business and long-term retained partnerships.

This hire forms part of the agency’s next stage of development.

The successful person will take day-to-day ownership of approximately four to six retained clients, working closely with specialists across paid media, creative and strategy.

This is not a traditional Account Manager role focused only on timelines, status updates and passing technical questions to delivery teams.

Equally, it is not a hands-on platform role where you will be expected to spend every day building and managing campaigns.

The opportunity sits between the two.

You will need genuine performance marketing understanding, particularly across Paid Social, and the confidence to turn campaign performance into clear insight, recommendations and commercially useful client conversations.

The Role:

As Performance Marketing Account Manager, you will become a trusted day-to-day partner to your clients. You will understand their objectives, audiences and wider commercial priorities, helping connect those needs with the expertise across the agency.

Your responsibilities will include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
