Role Overview
The Account Manager plays a central role in building partnerships rooted in trust. As a key day-to-day client contact, they will bring clarity, organisation, and energy to every programme - ensuring work is aligned to objectives and delivered to a high standard.
Working closely with internal teams and specialists, the Account Manager helps translate strategy into action. They manage timelines, budgets, and delivery with care, while maintaining strong client relationships built on reliability and responsiveness.
By staying close to client priorities and proactively identifying opportunities to add value, the Account Manager contributes to shared success, supporting both measurable client outcomes and the continued growth of the agency.
The role will be based at Right Formula’s offices in Battersea, London, and will require international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted day-to-day client partner, providing clarity, proactive communication, and confident guidance across all stakeholders
- Lead the planning and delivery of partnership activations and hospitality programmes, ensuring they are strategically aligned to business objectives and deliver measurable impact
- Champion full utilisation of partnership rights and assets, aligning activation plans to the client’s broader marketing and commercial priorities
- Develop and maintain clear activation roadmaps and tracking frameworks that ensure accountability, visibility, and performance reporting across programmes
- Oversee operational delivery with a focus on excellence and efficiency, ensuring guest experience, supplier management, logistics, and on-site execution meet premium standards while supporting long-term client value
- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables with strong commercial discipline, balancing flawless execution with profitability and resource efficiency
- Lead financial planning, cost control, and reconciliation processes, ensuring transparency and sustainable account performance
- Elevate creative thinking within the team, supporting the development of ideas, presentations, and post-event reporting that move beyond delivery to demonstrate insight and impact
- Lead internal and client meetings with confidence, ensuring alignment, momentum, and clear next steps across all workstreams
- Contribute strategic input into partnership planning, identifying optimisation opportunities, innovation areas, and avenues for organic growth
- Support senior leadership in strengthening client relationships, expanding scope, and positioning the team as strategic partners rather than operational executors

Skills & Experience Required
- 4+ years’ experience in sports marketing, sponsorship, brand partnerships, or related fields. Prior experience in Formula 1 is desirable
- Proven experience managing major client accounts and delivering measurable business impact
- Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to communicate confidently and build trust at all levels
- Strong understanding of sponsorship rights, asset delivery, and contractual obligations, with the ability to translate them into actionable plans
- Demonstrable experience in budget management, supplier negotiations, and contract oversight
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to lead multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience coordinating on-site event delivery across international markets
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver under pressure
- Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality and partnership experiences
- Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools
- A collaborative team leader with the ability to motivate and guide junior team members
- Willingness to work flexible work hours, including weekends, while planning for and balancing with deserved time away
