Account Manager – Analytical Instrumentation
Sales Executive – Analytical Instruments (Remote with Travel)

About the Role
Our client is a leading provider of analytical instruments in the UK, offering a comprehensive range of products, including:
- Sample preparation systems
- Elemental analysis instrumentation
Ideal for an ambitious scientist with a passion for sales, this technical sales position will allow you to combine technical expertise with commercial acumen, delivering exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customers by identifying their key pain points and recommending the most suitable products from our portfolio.
- Focus on account management, maintaining relationships with existing clients in:
- Academic institutions
- Contract Research Organisations (CROs)
- Biotech and pharmaceutical laboratories
- Prospect for and identify new B2B customers in targeted sectors.
- Travel (~60% of the time) to customer sites across the South East for:
- Instrument demonstrations
- Product presentations
- Negotiations and sales discussions

Eligibility & Criteria
Qualifications & Skills
- BSc minimum in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
Career Experience
- UK driver’s license and ability to travel and holiday overnight when required
- Proven experience in scientific sales is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of:
- The sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Account management and client relationship building

- Cities of focus: London, Cambridge, Oxford, Kent, Leicester, Northampton, Ipswich, St. Albans, Luton, Watford
- Work structure: Fully remote with significant time spent travelling to customer premises
