About the Role

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing a strategic sales approach across live and digital event channels. You will work closely with clients as a trusted advisor, using insight and data to demonstrate value and deliver strong commercial outcomes. The role combines relationship building, new business development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets across face-to-face and digital channels
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and clearly demonstrate value to clients
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and sharing industry best practices
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the benefits of event participation
  • Negotiate contracts with exhibitors and sponsors to maximise value for all parties
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities through networking and market research
  • Maintain accurate customer data and pipeline reporting in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales within a competitive, fast-paced environment
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to progress opportunities through the sales process
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with creativity in sharing ideas
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and across cultures
  • Highly organised, with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong prioritisation skills
  • Confidence using data and technology to support decisions and demonstrate value
  • Growth mindset, with openness to learning, innovation, and taking considered risks
  • Experience in international markets; knowledge of travel industry is beneficial but not required
