About The Role
An established recruitment agency with an excellent local reputation is seeking an experienced Labour Manager to assist with the management of a busy, productive recruitment desk. The desk generated over £500,000 in 2025 and offers significant organic growth potential with the right team in place. You will manage all of the resourcing and account management elements whilst building long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates. This is a fast-paced role requiring someone who can deliver results whilst maintaining excellent standards of customer service.

The Desk
- Assist with the management of a busy, established labour recruitment desk with £500,000 annual turnover.
- Handle candidate calls, queries and enquiries throughout the recruitment process.
- Screen and interview candidates to determine suitability for vacancies.
- Match candidates to labour vacancies and manage the placement process.
- Manage account relationships with clients and identify sales leads.
- Add candidates to the database, manage recruitment administration and collect timesheets.
- Provide solutions to recruitment problems and deliver the personal touch to all clients.
- Deliver excellent customer service to both clients and temporary candidates.
Who This Suits
- Recruitment industry experience is essential. Experience in recruitment, temporary staffing or account management is preferred.
- Background in resourcing, customer services or customer-focused recruitment roles.
- Excellent communicator who can engage with clients and candidates at all levels.
- Problem solver with a flair for delivering personal service and building relationships.
- Target-driven with the ability to manage a busy desk and complete tasks in a timely manner.
