About Chronicle

Chronicle develops Workforce Management software used by hundreds of organisations across the UK. Our platform helps businesses manage Time & Attendance, HR, Employee Self Service, Mobile Apps, Payroll Integration and Access Control.

We're growing and are looking for a commercially minded Customer Success Manager who enjoys working with customers, solving problems and identifying opportunities to help them get more value from our software.

The Role

You will manage a portfolio of business customers, building strong relationships and ensuring they gain maximum value from Chronicle.

This is not a customer service role. It is a proactive, commercial position focused on customer success, retention and account growth.

You will:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing Chronicle customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Build strong relationships through regular phone calls, Microsoft Teams meetings and on-site visits where appropriate.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand customer needs and ensure they are getting maximum value from Chronicle.
  • Identify opportunities to increase recurring revenue through additional software modules, licences, hardware, professional services and product upgrades.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and follow up on commercial opportunities.
  • Manage software renewals and work proactively to retain customers and reduce churn.
  • Handle customer requests including licence changes, add-on modules, hardware orders and contract amendments.
  • Work closely with Support, Projects and Development to ensure customer issues are progressed and resolved.
  • Contact customers requesting to cancel, understand the reasons why and work to retain their business where appropriate.
  • Generate customer advocacy by securing G2 reviews, Trustpilot reviews, customer testimonials, case studies and reference customers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account notes and follow-up actions.
  • Represent Chronicle professionally at all times while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
