6038 – Account Manager

Role Summary and Impact

T&P: T&P, part of WPP, is one of the world’s leading full-service creative and media agencies, connecting talent and tech to drive growth for brands. Formed by the integration of The&Partnership and mSix&Partners, it combines content and distribution into a single, holistic end-to-end marketing solution. Backed by WPP and WPP Media, and with the agility of an entrepreneurial, Partner-led mindset, the agency spans four continents with 45 offices and over $1.2 billion in billings globally. As an early adopter—credited for the first AI-generated TV ad for Lexus in 2018—T&P leverages AI across all outputs, with 1,900 people already trained on WPP’s proprietary AI platform, Creative Studio, to enhance client outcomes.

Role Overview: Your primary responsibilities include supporting the Account Director (Bridgestone, EMEA) and Client Lead (Karo Healthcare, EMEA), ensuring smooth day-to-day account management, market coordination, and strategic planning across all channels.

  • Central media planning and reporting.
  • Clear, proactive communication with internal and external teams.
  • Ensuring high standards of client service through detailed understanding and foresight across offline and online channels in the EMEA markets.

Key Responsibilities

Internal & External Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for Bridgestone and Karo client stakeholders, fostering strong relationships.
  • Lead client meetings (e.g., status updates, post-campaign reviews) and present insights and recommendations with clarity.
  • Promote cross-market collaboration, sharing exceptional work and improving industry standards.
  • Coordinate smoothly with internal specialist teams (e.g., activation, billing, strategy) and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Provide responsive and proactive support to Account Director, Client Lead, and client requests.

International Media Strategy & Planning

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaign execution (e.g., digital, TV, OOH, print) aligns with strategic goals.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of cultural nuances and market-specific differences across EMEA to refine media strategies.
  • Develop expertise in the brands' industrial verticals, competition, and regional market challenges.

Campaign Execution & Performance Oversight

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of all media campaigns, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, high-quality execution.
  • Monitor performance against agreed KPIs, with the activation team, conducting in-depth analysis and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare insightful performance reports (with support from Digital Account Director and activation teams), sharing key learnings and future opportunities.
  • Achieve median proficiency with active campaigns, including strategy documents, media plans, and PCAs.

Proactive Problem Solving & Innovation

  • Anticipate challenges and propose solutions for clients and internal teams.
  • Identify and explore new media opportunities, industry trends, and innovative approaches to benefit clients.
  • Incorporate AI into working practices to enhance efficiency.

Financial Management

  • Supervise billing and financial reconciliation for assigned accounts.
  • Manage client budgets with clear communication and transparency.
