Account Manager – East Anglia | SBS UK Commercial Sales

Are you an ambitious B2B sales professional looking to take the next step in your career with a globally recognised technology brand? At Sharp Business Systems (SBS UK), we're looking for an Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales team, responsible for managing an established customer portfolio while developing new business opportunities across East Anglia.
This is a field-based, hybrid role offering autonomy, territory ownership, uncapped commission, and a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career within a leading technology and managed services provider.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of 150+ existing customer accounts across the territory
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
- Deliver against revenue targets and KPIs through a consultative, value-led sales approach
- Develop long-term customer relationships through retention, upselling and cross-selling activities
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM management
- Plan and execute territory strategies based on customer, competitor and market insight
- Take ownership of your territory, managing your diary and priorities effectively
- Prepare professional sales proposals, quotations and supporting documentation
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across sales and support functions
- Attend regular sales meetings, training programmes and development activities
- Use LinkedIn and other channels to build your professional network and identify opportunities

What You'll Bring
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in B2B Sales and Account Management
- At least one previous field-based sales role
- A strong account management profile with proven success developing new business and winning new customers
- Consultative, solution-led selling experience
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline
- Experience managing customer relationships, renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- A customer-centric and commercially minded approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Resilience, self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory
Desirable Experience
- Managed Print, MFP, IT Hardware or Managed Services sales experience
- Multi-product or solution-based sales experience
- Experience selling capital equipment or business solutions within sectors such as Automotive, FMCG, Technology or similar B2B environments
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Confident, tech-savvy approach to modern B2B sales
