The Role

StarRez is seeking an Account Manager to serve as a trusted partner to our community of EMEA customers. You will work closely with universities, PBSA operators, and student accommodation providers to understand their operational and strategic priorities, and position tailored StarRez solutions that deliver measurable value.

Your mission is twofold: work alongside our internal teams to ensure customer happiness and success and drive growth by identifying upsell opportunities aligned to their needs. This role owns the full cycle of account growth from lead generation and product demonstration to deal closure with a strong emphasis on relationship-building, consultative selling, and customer success.

You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Customer Success, Product, Professional Services, Renewals, and Marketing, bringing insights from the field to influence strategy and outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-oriented problem solver who thrives on making a measurable impact and building long-term partnerships

You will own the full sales cycle within existing accounts, from identifying expansion opportunities and conducting in-depth needs analysis to leading product demonstrations, managing tender processes, and closing deals. Success in this role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, engage proactively with customers, and consistently deliver against revenue, customer engagement and data integrity targets.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a metrics-driven environment, enjoys managing complex sales cycles, and is motivated by building long-term, commercially impactful partnerships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
