About the role

The Role

Our Events Division combines the expertise of all GAP divisions to provide a one-stop shop to supply the Events industry across the UK with all their equipment requirements. We have a newly created opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team.

The Account Manager will manage and develop existing business and introduce new customers to the Group to ensure that the Events division meets budgeted revenue targets. They will conduct a number of site visits and meetings, with a view to growing the product range supplied across our accounts. This role will cover the South, London, and the Midlands and will involve extensive travel and overnight stays.

What You'll Be Doing

  • To effectively manage an existing portfolio of accounts ensuring growth by offering additional products and services
  • Delivery of Key Account target revenue and identifying new business and customers to the Group
  • Preparation and submission of quotes and tenders
  • Conduct regular meetings and site visits with customers
  • Submission of accurate reports and paperwork
  • Build strong relationships with all GAP divisions

About You

What We're Looking for

  • Previous Accounts Management experience gained within the Events industry
  • A strong desire and ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Sound organisation and planning skills
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to work away from home on a regular basis.
