Account Manager, Events – Full time – Glasgow HQ

At itison, we believe life is about the experience. We match our 1.7 million members with the best local experiences, create our own world-class events and donate thousands of experiences to local charities.

We’re the market leader at what we do, and we’re proud to be a fast-paced, ambitious, independent Scottish business with a brilliant culture, a strong sense of purpose and a team full of smart, driven people who care about doing great work.

We’re looking for a proven and ambitious Account Manager, specialising in ticketed events, to join our City Team and help us grow our business sustainably. This is a hands-on commercial role, ideal for someone who can build strong relationships across the events industry, spot standout opportunities, negotiate brilliant ticket promotions and help our host businesses reach our engaged audience.

The role would suit someone who is well connected in the events industry, with a strong network of promoters, venues, producers, festivals, theatres, exhibitions and experience-led businesses they can tap into.

What You'll Be Doing

Our City Team is at the forefront of growth for itison, sourcing and negotiating an incredible range of local experiences; from hotel breaks and Michelin-starred dining to standout events, festivals, theatre, exhibitions and shows.

  • You’ll be focused on managing and growing existing event accounts, while identifying, approaching and negotiating new ticket promotions across multiple categories of events.
  • You’ll use research, industry knowledge and your network to uncover the best opportunities across our key cities, building a strong pipeline of events our members will love.
  • As Account Manager, Events, you’ll confidently negotiate ticket deals with businesses and work closely with our Mission Control team (host/account services) to make sure ticket redemption is seamless for customers and operators.
  • You’ll be commercially sharp, organised and proactive - able to balance relationship management, new business development and the detail needed to make every feature run smoothly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
