About the Role

We’re looking for a French Speaking Account Manager to join our Lightspeed team in Belfast. You will be responsible for building and maintaining lasting relationships with Lightspeed's accounts. With your knowledge of their goals, you will be tasked with introducing them to Lightspeed’s suite of products and integrations to ensure they’re getting the best solution to help them achieve their goals. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in cultivating and sustaining robust, long-term relationships with Lightspeed's valued accounts.

Leveraging your deep understanding of each client's unique business targets and challenges, you will be responsible for strategically introducing them to Lightspeed’s comprehensive suite of innovative products and seamless integrations. Your expertise will be key in ensuring that clients are fully equipped with the optimal solutions to not only meet but exceed their individual goals, thereby maximising their success and satisfaction with Lightspeed.

Please note this role is based in Belfast with a must requirement of speaking French fluently

What you will be doing:

  • Drive adoption of Lightspeed Payments and software solutions, ensuring clients extract maximum value from our POS products, modules, and integrations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, building trusted, long-term partnerships and proactively supporting client success.
  • Guide account growth and upgrades, transitioning customers to advanced solutions tailored to their evolving business needs.
  • Create new revenue opportunities, executing upsells, cross-sells, and expansions aligned with client goals.
  • Deliver compelling product demos and support adoption, ensuring clients fully utilise Lightspeed’s suite of tools.
  • Monitor and analyse account performance, tracking metrics such as Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Net Retention Rate (NRR), customer health, and engagement.
  • Proactively manage churn and satisfaction, identifying trends, resolving issues, and strengthening long-term client relationships.
  • Negotiate and close agreements, securing favourable terms while consistently achieving renewal, retention, and growth targets.
  • Contribute to and execute sales and marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing the customer experience and increasing Lightspeed’s Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).

What you need to bring:

  • Fluency in French
  • Demonstrated success in quota-carrying SaaS or technology roles, consistently achieving revenue growth and retention targets.
  • Skilled at identifying client challenges, tailoring solutions, and delivering long-term value through strategic account management.
  • Build trust and credibility with clients, including executive-level stakeholders, fostering lasting partnerships.
  • Understand complex business models, align solutions with client goals, and make data-driven decisions to optimise outcomes.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and sales tools for forecasting, pipeline management, and maintaining accurate, actionable customer data.
  • Articulate ideas clearly, influence cross-functional teams, and secure mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Anticipate client needs, navigate challenges, manage multiple accounts, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
