Role Description

This is a full-time Account Manager role based in York, with a hybrid working model that allows some work from home. The Account Manager will:

  • Oversee relationships with a portfolio of independent businesses & farms to support the B2B offering
  • Serve as the main point of contact for owners and managers
  • Understand and address customer needs on a day-to-day basis
  • Support growth initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for additional value
  • Manage issues proactively
  • Contribute to continuous enhancement of account management processes

Qualifications

  • Experience in account management, client services, or relationship management within the retail sector or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to:
    • Build trust
    • Manage stakeholders at different levels
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to:
    • Prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Familiarity with modern retail systems and digital tools, including:
    • CRM platforms
    • Office productivity software
    • Collaboration tools
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset, with:
    • Attention to detail
    • Focus on delivering a high-quality client experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating both in-person in York and remotely
  • Relevant education or training in business, retail management, or a related field
  • Equivalent practical experience is also valued
