Job Description

Please note: Role can be Hybrid or Remote, subject to location.

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our newly formed Health team. This hybrid role (based in one of our NEC offices) will include travel to customer sites.

NECSWS has a strong reputation across the public sector, particularly in Health, with numerous sales wins. We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of finance and experience in œstate healthcare.

The focus of this role is to support the sales process for NEC Health, working closely with the BU Director and the team. Primary responsibility is to advance AdviseInc—our platform that helps #MakeSense of Global Healthcare Spend Data.

Key Responsibilities

The role will emphasize strategic account development within the Health sector, including:

  • Growing NHS market share and expanding traction in the private healthcare sector.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders (C-suite of ICBs including CEO, CFO, Medical Directors, and Purchasing Directors) to drive sales.
  • Collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to deliver revenue growth.
  • Maintaining CRM records in accordance with NEC guidelines.
  • Holding responsibility for assigned territory’s target revenue, ensuring seamless CRM upkeep.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain strategic relationships with existing customers, senior management, and Board executives. Ensure expectations are met pre- and post-sale by effectively managing engagement and delivery.
  • Generate opportunities for new product sales, solution upsells, swap-outs, and innovation within assigned Health accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets, ensuring KPIs are met and sales activities align with performance reviews.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality sales opportunities, contributing to both territory and team revenue goals.
  • Engage clients strategically at a senior and influencing level, ensuring enquiries are promptly addressed.
  • Develop long-term strategic opportunities within assigned accounts, tracking projects from inception to completion while ensuring compliance with bid processes and high-quality delivery.
  • Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines across all engagements.
  • Attend internal/external meetings and training, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Resolve debt inquiries as requested by the Sales Manager while maintaining revenue alignment.
  • Support NEC performance through efficient work practices and self-development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
