Animal Nutrition & Health Account Manager (Global Brand, UK/Ireland)

Location: Ireland (Remote) – Reporting Hub: Heanor, Derbyshire (UK)

About the Role

Ready to drive growth and build impactful customer partnerships in Animal Nutrition & Health? As the Account Manager (Global Brand) for the UK & Ireland, you’ll join Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH), a global leader in vitamins, performance solutions, carroenoids, flavour solutions, and precision services. Reporting into the Performance Solutions team within the Heanor office, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding a strategic portfolio of customers while collaborating closely with scientists, nutrition experts, and sales leadership to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, relationship-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic commercial environment—where technical expertise combines with sales agility to future-proof partnerships in the fast-moving animal nutrition sector.

Key focus areas include: ✔ Commercial Account Management across vitamins, performance solutions, and precision services ✔ Target-driven growth via high-value consultative selling and strategic account development ✔ Collaborative innovation, bridging technical expertise with market needs ✔ Market leadership in substantive growth markets (dairy, pork, aquaculture, poultry, pet food)


Your Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Sales Excellence

  • Lead end-to-end sales activities for a structured portfolio of key clients in animal nutrition & health
  • Define and implement custom plans to drive sales of Essential Vitamins Products, Performance Solutions, and Precision Services—aligning to allocated quotas while maximizing value-add opportunities
  • Develop tailored business case narratives: communicating on-and-off-farm returns, scientific advancements, and measurable outcomes
  • Maximize CRM efficiency and leverage data-driven insights for targeted outreach and space optimisation

Strategic Client Management

  • Maintain long-term customer relationships by becoming the trusted advisor across all lines of business
  • Proactively engage ** Strategy Ninjas**, business unit specialists, and technical experts to tie product innovations to client needs (e.g. reproductive, metabolic, sustainability, production efficiency variables)
  • Ensure contract reviews refine advance-tracking, credit limits, and payment terms to optimize profits while preserving client loyalty

Technical-Technological Synergy

  • Translate technical collateral into compelling customer value propositions, ensuring clarity and relevance
  • Showcase Wഷogenic formula tools, precision management services, and market‐specific solutions (e.g. novel ingredient integration in plant-based/dairy-alternative meat segments)
  • Conduct trade visibility statics through marketing and product education insights, correlating books to realeainted trends

Collaboration & Mobility

  • Work closely with Performance Solutions Sales Managers and Technical Experts on account expansion strategies
  • Participate in cross-fuctional events, stakeholder meetings, and conferences to extend go-to-market roadmap

Travel & Location:

  • This is a remote-plus-role based in Ireland, allowing 10–15 days onsite/demand to customer locations and/or ds-m-f theory office/leading sites.

Who You Are: Key Attributes & Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • Minimum of 5+ years in customer account management, or bespoke B2B nutrition sales with a demonstrated performance improvement profile
  • Underlying expertise in Animal Nutrition & Health ( embryžu feeding training or technology forum attended) or a related discipline (e.g. animal science, biochemistry/ veterinary medicine) with c mělits in ingredients breakdown, bioactivity, or feeding trial interpretation

Tangible Skills

  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and custom to artisan forging partnerships in multi-stakeholder dynamics (e.g. integration across farm owners to contractors)
  • Adept at translating scientific evidence into succinct, client-specific narratives while ˜wagentsly persuading budget decisions
  • Proven track record in budget growth four on financially-impactful client wins and retention plans
  • Agile ability to multitask: synchronize with internal teams to finalize sales tracks backlog during peak season pressure, while showing zero tolerance for errors—such as product mislabeling in customer invoices
