Account Manager / Inside Sales → Key Accounts | Wind Energy Sector | Glasgow
Ready to step up from Inside Sales into real account ownership? FPSG are working with a market-leading provider of parts and servicing solutions in the wind energy sector — a fast-growing industry built around sustainability and the circular economy. This is a genuine progression role for an ambitious sales professional who wants to move beyond transactional selling and into strategic Key Account Management.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts
- Building strong relationships with industrial clients, engineers, and procurement decision-makers
- Identifying upsell and growth opportunities within existing accounts (focused on physical products, components, and technical solutions)
- Working closely with senior sales leadership on account strategy
- Tracking performance, pipeline, and forecasting activity
- Gaining exposure to engineering, product, and operational teams
- Attending client meetings, site visits, and industry events

What we’re looking for
- 1–3 years’ experience in Inside Sales / SDR / B2B Sales / Junior Account Executive roles
- Experience selling physical products, equipment, components, or technical/industrial solutions is strongly preferred
- Candidates from manufacturing, engineering, industrial supply, or similar product-based sales environments will be ideal
- We are not seeking candidates whose experience is solely in SaaS, IT software, or service-led sales backgrounds
- Strong communicator with confidence engaging business customers
- Driven, commercially minded, and motivated to progress into account ownership
- Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in engineering, energy, or industrial sectors is a plus
