Whisky Asset
Whisky Asset works with private clients and organisations exploring whisky cask ownership. We operate differently from the rest of the industry. We own the casks we offer and work privately with clients over the long term rather than chasing volume.
We are now looking for an Account Manager who can take ownership of relationships, drive opportunities forward, and close significant deals.
This role is not suited to someone who needs constant direction. We are looking for someone who is relentless, self-motivated, and comfortable operating with autonomy.
You will be trusted to manage your pipeline, develop relationships with high-value clients, and bring deals across the line.
The Role
You will work directly with prospective and existing clients who are exploring whisky cask ownership. Your role is to guide conversations, identify opportunities, and convert serious interest into long-term relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
