Account Manager – Strategic Accounts (EMEA)

Location: London (1–2 days per week in office – London or Brighton) | Flexible/remote options available

Salary: £190k OTE (60/40 split)

The Role

We are looking for a Customer Account Manager to join the Account Management team and make a significant contribution to regional revenue growth.

You will own a portfolio of strategic EMEA accounts, driving upsell and cross-sell across a comprehensive Tax SaaS suite including:

  • Tax Reporting & Tax Returns
  • E-Invoicing / Live Reporting
  • Item Classification
  • Cross-Border Solutions
  • Tax Research

Working closely with Customer Success, you will build deep knowledge of your customers’ businesses and deliver a best-in-class client experience while expanding revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic EMEA accounts
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell pipeline and revenue
  • Build relationships across organisations up to executive level
  • Develop and execute account and territory plans
  • Generate leads within existing accounts through campaigns and networking
  • Deliver presentations, demos, and webinars
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and risk analysis via Salesforce
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements
  • Partner closely with Customer Success to drive retention and expansion
  • Collaborate with partners in co-sell/referral motions

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven quota-carrying Account Management experience in Fintech / SaaS
  • Strong track record of upsell & cross-sell within named accounts
  • Experience selling into the Office of the CFO / Finance stakeholders
  • Strategic, consultative sales approach
  • Strong relationship management and retention experience
  • Territory and account planning discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience working cross-functionally (Customer Success, Sales, Partners)

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Indirect Tax / VAT / Tax SaaS
  • Experience with E-invoicing / CTC regulations
  • Background in industries such as retail, software, logistics, finance, or tax
  • Multilingual (German, French, Italian, Spanish advantageous)
