About the role The Field-Based Account Manager will hold full sales and budget responsibility for the entire Oil & Gas product portfolio. This role is accountable for managing, retaining, and expanding business opportunities within the assigned region. Grow market share Proactively present and sell Dräger products and services to both new and existing customers. Develop and implement strategic action plans to monitor opportunities and prioritize key accounts. Create customer-centric value propositions that emphasize overall value rather than focusing on cost. Follow up on leads generated through trade shows, marketing campaigns, publications, and other sources. Consistently work to achieve and exceed defined sales and profitability targets Customer Management: Maintain and regularly update all opportunities within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and visibility. Actively manage the CRM sales funnel to ensure alignment with targets and business objectives. Monitor, prioritize, and respond to upcoming tenders in a timely and strategic manner. Coordinate and collaborate with internal Dräger teams to support customer projects and ensure successful outcomes. Partner with marketing managers to identify opportunities and execute aligned strategic plans. Work in close collaboration with regional and global account managers to support and grow relationships with key customers. Represent the company at seminars, networking events, exhibitions, and workshops to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement. Adopt a consultative sales approach, fostering collaboration across teams to deliver optimal customer solutions. Build and maintain a strong network of contacts, developing long-term relationships that meet the needs of both the customer and the business. Demonstrate proactive, effective decision-making with a flexible and agile approach to changing customer and market demands Attend internal and external meetings as required to support business objectives and team collaboration.
