About The Role
This Account Manager role is your opportunity to lead and shape client relationships within OCS UK & Ireland, ensuring the successful delivery of facilities management services—while maintaining profitability and driving operational improvements.

Purpose of the Role
- Lead and manage client relationships, ensuring profitable, high-quality delivery of services.
- Drive operational efficiencies and account growth through strategic initiatives.
- Apply Key Account Management principles to foster long-term client partnerships.

- Manage account performance with P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Identify and secure opportunities for expanded services, projects, and contract extensions.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, delivering value.
- Ensure satisfaction and trust through consistent, high standards of service.
Operational & Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and motivate operational and management teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee mobilisation, transition, and operational plans for new and existing services.
- Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships to guarantee high-quality execution.
Compliance & Performance Assurance
- Ensure contractual obligations are met safely, efficiently, and within agreed standards.
- Maintain compliance across health & safety, quality, environmental, commercial, HR, and ethical standards.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric service enhancements.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience in managing complex Facilities Management (FM) or Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracts with full P&L accountability.
- Strong capability in relationship management and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
- Demonstrable track record of growing accounts through new service offerings, upselling, or project expansions.
- Experience in supply chain management, subcontractor coordination, and multi-disciplinary team leadership.
- Commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and financial oversight.
- Strong leadership, change management, and people development skills.
- Familiarity with both hard and soft FM services (e.g., maintenance, cleaning, security).
- Proactive, resilient, and decisive, with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
