Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager - Mid Market (Maternity Cover) to join our team in London for 18 months.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our mid-market clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned mid-market accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Analyse client needs and provide expert advice on our products and services
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and expand existing customer relationships
  • Conduct regular client meetings and negotiations at senior management level
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare detailed reports on account progress
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and resolve any client issues
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within your portfolio
  • Participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies for the mid-market segment
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge

Experience working in a regulated environment and understanding of FCA requirements and compliance


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in mid-market account management, preferably within a broker environment
  • Strong understanding of the UK mid-market landscape and business challenges
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities with a focus on long-term account growth
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
