Account Manager
Account Manager – Saputo Dairy UK

We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to lead critical accounts, partner with senior stakeholders, and deliver the highest customer value while aligning commercial strategies to broader business ambitions.
About the Role
Location: UK Division: SDUK (Saputo Dairy UK) Reporting: Directly to senior management
This role focuses on proactively growing revenue, optimizing accounts across major retailers (Booker & Costco, with scope to expand), and driving both category-led and brand-specific growth. You’ll build strong cross-functional internal partnerships, develop growth-positioned business plans, and contribute to shaping NPD and category strategies. Your impact will extend beyond direct accounts to influence broader SDUK initiatives, reinforcing Sustainable Growth across the portfolio.

- Cultivate exceptional internal and external partnerships, fostering confidence-driven, long-term value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and suppliers to consistently deliver against shared objectives, including those with Formula One Engagement and sustainability-linked agreements.

Engaged Sales Leadership
- Influence strategy for Booker & Costco contracts while evolving scope to support additional NTFS accounts in line with SDUK’s expansion priorities.
- Drive data-informed negotiations while aligning discussions with strategic priorities.

- Strategic Commercial Execution
- Lead full commercial lifecycle from annual business planning (JBPs) to negotiation, ensuring alignment between customer needs and SDUK’s long-term objectives.
- Contribute NPD projects and sharpen category strategies to deliver maximum growth potential.
Who You Are
Proven track record of steadfast contribution in FMCG sales—Your professional experience speaks volumes when measured against these metrics:
- FMCG Sales/ Account Management expertise, focusing on own-label propositions.
- History of leading and delivering Joint Business Plans, while exceeding targets and unlocking new opportunities.
- Track record of high-stake negotiations that reflect thorough insight and strategic acumen.
- A role model in relationship-building: internally, cross-functionally, and with senior customer partners.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, plan and execute, handling complex relationships with organisational experts—nimbly and effectively.
- Analytical precision and creative thinking that drives category takeaway and brand-relevant growth, informed by insights and data.
- Business acumen with a firm understanding of profit & loss management, brand P&L responsibility, and the finance tools deployed to value creation.
