Account Manager
Job Title: Account Manager – Golf Partnerships

Role Overview
The Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering long-term business relationships, and maintaining client satisfaction across a portfolio of our golf course partners. This role is centred around relationship management, responsible for:
- Managing key partner clients
- Growing accounts through upselling products
- Driving revenue
- Ensuring retention via adoption of best practices and utilisation of our products and services
This position is based in Belfast and will report to the Account Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Relationship Management
- Develop a deep understanding of our Account Management philosophy, market, and customer needs.
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with clients to gather feedback and identify growth opportunities.
- Proactively engage partners through outbound activities, manage inbound cases, and ensure high performance and satisfaction.
- Allocate dedicated time to high-value and high-potential accounts, ensuring personalised service and strong communication (including onsite visits when appropriate).

Product & Market Expertise
- Develop advanced knowledge of our products and industry trends to provide consultative advice that maximises client utilisation.
- Secure and optimise tee time offerings to strengthen inventory for our platforms.
- Leverage technical tools, platforms, and quantitative data to tailor strategies that align with client success criteria.
- Act as a brand ambassador, positioning partners positively on our platforms and in communications.
Revenue & Strategic Growth
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities while analysing account performance.
- Implement dynamic pricing strategies within the golf industry, educating partners and optimising partnerships.
- Retain clients through contract renewals and ensure long-term business retention.
- Achieve and exceed revenue and retention targets, with accountability for assigned UK/Ireland counties (focusing on higher-value, high-revenue potential areas).
Salesforce & Compliance
- Maintain accurate daily records of all activities in Salesforce.
- Ensure adherence to company values and culture, contributing to our mission of making Golf a Great Place to Work.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
✅ 1+ years’ experience in Sales or Account Management within a relevant industry (e.g., e-commerce, technology) with responsibility for retention and growth of customer accounts. ✅ Demonstrable business acumen, including:
- Sound decision-making and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex client relationships ✅ Experience in analysing, presenting data, and collating demos/recommendations for clients. ✅ Proficiency in sales management technologies, including:
- Sales automation
- Marketing automation
- Salesforce/CRM tools (or similar) ✅ A results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of achieving targets and objectives. ✅ Willingness to travel when required for business purposes.

Desirable Skills & Experience
🔹 Degree-level education in a relevant discipline (Business, Marketing, IT). 🔹 Familiarity with or experience in the UK golf market.
